Daniel offered a very enjoyable tour of Alfama, taking us to spots we otherwise never would have found on our own. We have taken many walking tours in cities across Europe, a d it never ceases to amaze me how some people still do not fully grasp the concept of a "free" tour. The guides rely on gratuities at the end of the tour. While everyone's situation may be different, if you are not prepared to offer at least €5-10 per person as a show of gratitude, take a self-guided tour found online.

I travel around Europe often and do a walking tour to every city I go to. Unfortunately, this walking tour was probably the worst I have been on in terms of the amount of places you see, and the quality of the information provided. I left feeling like I didn't learn anything new that google hasn't told me, nor did I leave feeling like I knew any special places or that I had a better insight into the way of life / history of Alfama through this tour.

The guides do their best to respect the time of the visit, taking the tour in its entirety and providing all the necessary explanations. However, we are sorry if the pace of the tour did not suit you. We have already taken note of your comments in order to continue to improve.

I really liked the tour. We saw a different side of Lisbon, away from the crowded streets of the city centre. This neighbourhood shows the origins of the city, tons of stairs and slopes included =) And what made it super top was out tourguide (Liliana), she shared interesting facts about Lisbon while making the tour entertaining and fun.
