On this complete tour, you'll see all the best of Lisbon. We'll wander through the streets on foot, cruise down the Tagus river and even fly in a helicopter to enjoy the city from above!
Lisbon Walking Tour + Cruise + Helicopter Ride
At the indicated time we'll meet at Praça de D. Pedro IV where we'll start this complete tour of Lisbon.
The first part of our tour will be to explore the city on foot as we'll discover the historic centre of Lisbon by walking to Restauradores Square. Here, we'll board the Elevador da Glória, a famous yellow tram or lift that will take us to the Bairro Alto. We'll come to the viewpoint of São Pedro de Alcântara, where you'll be able to enjoy a fantastic view of the city.
Then we'll walk to the church of Sao Roque, one of the most important churches in the capital, and continue our walking tour of Lisbon in the Alfama neighbourhood, where you'll learn about what life was like for the Arab, Jewish and Christian populations who lived here during the Middle Ages.
After learning about some of Lisbon's history, we'll start the second part of the tour. We'll board a boat and sail along the Tagus River. From the boat, we'll see the Belém district, which honours the memory of the Portuguese maritime discoveries.
We'll pass under the 25 de Abril Bridge and see the MAAT museum, the Monument to the Discoverers, the Belém Tower and the Jerónimos Monastery, giving you the best views of Lisbon's most iconic monuments!
To round off the day, we'll take a helicopter ride to admire Lisbon from a bird's eye view for about 6 minutes.
After this unforgettable aerial experience, we'll return to the mainland and end the tour at Praça do Comércio 5 hours after the start time.
