Sintra, Fátima, Cascais... Discover the pastoral and monumental in Lisbon's beautiful surroundings, with an exclusive private guide.

Advantages of a private excursion

Contracting a private tour means you will have an exclusive, English speaking guide who will show you all the places close to Lisbon in a totally personalised way. You can also design your own itinerary, and if you form part of a large group, you even save money!

Our Private Trips

If you find yourself with plenty of time on your trip to the Portuguese capital, you can take one of the following trips to one of the nearby towns. All of these trips can be done in one day, and include a private guide who speaks English. Below are suggested itineraries, but remember, it's your private tour!

Sintra, Cascais and Estoril

We leave from the centre of Lisbon towards Sintra, where it is possible to see the beautiful Palacio da Pena. Afterwards, we will have free time to eat, before hitting the road again towards the Cascais bay. Having seen the sights in Cascais, such as Cabo da Roca and the Boca do Inferno, we make our way back to Lisbon, via a stop in the picturesque town of Estoril. The idea of this tour is that it will follow a similar route to that of the Day Trip to Sintra and Cascais.

Arrábida and Sesimbra

This trip leaves Lisbon, crossing the Vasco da Gama Bridge, then making a stop in Setúbal, where we will enjoy a tasting menu of local wines. We then continue through the beautiful coastal landscapes of the Arrábida natural park, and following free time to eat in Sesimbra the tour returns to Lisbon via more of the wine-making regions close to the Portuguese capital. The idea of this tour is that it follows a similar route to that of the Arrabada and Sesimbra Day Trip.

Óbidos and Fátima

Fron Lisbon we make our way to the Fatima shrine, one of the most important places of pilgrimage in all of Europe. The excursion then continues to Nazaré, a wonder of nature where you can see some of the world's biggest waves (the biggest wave ever surfed was 80 feet tall, here in 2017) and stop for lunch. After this, and on the road back to Lisbon, we will stop in Óbidos to visit its magnificent medieval old town. The idea of this tour is that it follows a similar route to that of the Óbidos and Fátima day trip.
